Learn the wisdom of doing subtraction

In life, we all hope that our lives will get better and better. In today’s era when material life is becoming increasingly abundant, we pursue bigger and bigger houses, more and more luxurious cars and acquire more and more items. However, our sense of happiness is decreasing. So where exactly is the problem?

Subtraction means getting rid of some unnecessary things and keeping the more precious ones. The happiness obtained from material things is short-lived. Life can actually be very simple, and simple is beautiful.

Subtraction enables us to learn to distinguish between priorities and not try to take care of everything. We should do the things that yield the most remarkable results and do what we really want to do.

Throughout one’s life, there are just too many temptations. Often, our anxiety stems from constantly adding things. Do you feel that life is getting busier and busier, and there always seem to be so many things waiting for you to do? In the end, when you think about it, it seems that there isn’t anything particularly outstanding. Besides being exhausted, there doesn’t seem to be any sense of joy or the sense of accomplishment from harvest.

Especially at times like these, we need to clearly understand ourselves. Don’t keep blindly adding things to ourselves. Instead, do subtraction appropriately to make our energy as full as possible. No matter what life is like, we still need to have the awareness of taking the initiative to do subtraction.

Most people in life are unconsciously or deliberately adding things, because on the surface, addition seems to make people feel more fulfilled and their values can be reflected. But is addition really the best way in reality?

Sometimes we might as well think from a different perspective. When we encounter problems during the process of addition and things don’t go smoothly, subtraction might be a very good choice. Subtract the unnecessary waste in life and subtract those troublesome affairs to make work and life more efficient, streamlined and smoother!

Whenever we choose to let go of something, there will be new gains. Addition isn’t necessarily the best, and subtraction isn’t necessarily the worst. Only when it is used well can we achieve the greatest harvest.

Hopefully, after doing subtraction, your life will no longer be so rushed but will become easier and easier.
